MASSAL SELECTION AT THE HEART OF OUR DEVELOPMENT

Mass selection is a multiplication of old strains (vines planted before 1970) carefully selected after several years of evaluation. Extending the selection (different plots of several winemakers) allows for more varietal diversity and offers a broader expression of the terroir.

In a group of winegrowers this work was carried out on old plots of Riesling and in 2011 allowed the planting of this selection on the Lieu-dit Muhlforst.
